Personal information provided to the Abbotsford Flying Club (AFC) by a member during their membership application process, and as amended or compiled over time, as well as personal information contained in membership documentation on file is confidential, and is used for the operational needs of the club.
Personal information provided by a member may be shared, copied or distributed to governmental or regulatory agencies (e.g. Transport Canada) and the club’s insurance provider in order to fulfill requirements related to operational, compliance, legal or any other lawful purposes as may be required by law or service provided. Limited information provided by a member (e.g. name, phone number, email address) may be shared with other club members to promote club fellowship.
All personal information may be stored manually or electronically, and will not be shared, rented, leased, or distributed to any third party, except as noted above, without the member’s written consent.
By becoming a member of the AFC, a member acknowledges that they are aware of this policy, and give consent for the use of their information as described above. Should a member disagree with this policy, they may refer their concern to the Board.
